Comfort and speed are two things that triathletes always seek. The Castelli Free 2 Women’s Short Shorts share many of the aerodynamic features of the Castelli Free 2 Women's Tri Shorts, while ensuring even greater ease of movement, since they’re a few centimetres shorter in both the waist and legs.
The speed comes from Instadry Speed fabric, which is naturally feather light, slow to absorb water, and cut to offer an anatomic fit that will support your muscles. Meanwhile, the back pocket is flat enough to let air and water stream past it freely, yet large enough to keep a gel close at hand for a timely energy boost.
Comfort is achieved through flatlock seams that ensure the whole short is smooth and a pleasure to wear, along with the GIRO³ leg grippers that will hold the legs firmly but lightly in place as you push on the pedals or pound the ground.
These shorts also feature the renowned KISS Tri seat pad, which offers ample cushioning to keep you feeling great on your bike, whether on race day or in training, but with minimal bulk, so that you’ll barely notice it’s there during the swim and run. After you’ve left the water, you’ll mount the bike ready to roll thanks to the pad’s extra fast drying foam.
