HJC Adwatt TT Helmet

The HJC Adwatt is an all-out speed lid that doesn’t compromise on either comfort or safety.

Developed at HJC’s bespoke wind tunnel facility in conjunction with UCI Hour Record holder, Victor Campenaerts, the HJC Adwatt aero helmet is entirely streamlined, with or without a shield.

HJC’s relatively recent entry into the world of elite performance bicycle helmets belies its rich and prestigious history of building pioneering motorcycle helmets since 1971. The fact that the Adwatt has already been worn to break the UCI Hour Record speaks to the visionary approach and dedicated design work that went into its construction.

Record-Breaking

In April 2019, Victor Campenaerts broke the UCI Hour Record, covering 55.089 kilometres at the Aguascalientes indoor velodrome in Mexico.

Designing and manufacturing a helmet that would help deliver a world record was a challenge that HJC wholly embraced. The brand worked very closely with Campenaerts at its bespoke wind tunnel facility to understand exactly what constitutes an all-out speed helmet.

The result is a helmet that not only works with and without a shield, but is phenomenally well ventilated and fast.

Airflow Advantages

What makes the Adwatt truly unique is its blend of aerodynamic streamlining with fantastic ventilation.

By drawing on Venturi fluid dynamic principles, HJC's research and development has succeeded in  created a helmet that actively draws air over your head, keeping it cool, without forgoing any streamlining properties, so you can rest assured that you're always performing at your peak.

Every detail that contributes to the Adwatt's sleek aesthetic is the direct consequence of a singular drive for performance and this pays dividends on every ride in the form of faster times.

Intelligent Fitting

During research and development for the Adwatt, HJC completed comprehensive 3D analysis of a diverse sample of rider head shapes that influenced the final design of the helmet cradle. What this means for you is that the Adwatt is super simple to adjust for a comfortable fit – giving you the freedom to focus on the race at hand.

HJC sizing is also remarkably straightforward – find your brow circumference and set the adjusters in seconds.

Size Measurement
XS/S 54 - 56 cm (21.2 - 22")

Our seal of Approval

With more than a few avid time trialists and track riders within the Saddleback team, we've ridden with our fair share of aero lids, but haven't found any others as versatile as the Adwatt.

Worn with or without a visor, it performs just the way you need it to. If, like us, you're driven by marginal gains, this helmet will be perfect for you.
