The Silca Ultimate Brake and Drivetrain Cleaner is the first part of Silca's one-stop-shop to protect your investment, the Bicycle Spa 4-step cleaning system. It is especially designed to clear off one of the grimiest areas of your bike, the brakes and drivetrain, eliminating brake squeal in the process.
Grab your bottle, spray the clear, cinnamon-smelling cleaning solution onto your chain, cassette, chainring and pulleys, and let it soak in for three to five minutes. It will soon start to foam, gently lifting, loosening and converting grime, dust and oils, turning a reddish purple in the process. If your bike is really coated in mud, use a firm bristled brush to help shift bigger debris.
The cleaner will be kind to your components, regardless of how long it's left on, but rinse it well with water after a few minutes to achieve the best possible, streak free finish and wash off all the nasty stuff clogging your drivetrain.
Best used as part of the Bicycle Spa set.
