Headsets
All Santa Cruz bikes since 2018 are compatible with a Chris King DropSet 3 Headset. The only exception is the V10 which uses an InSet 5 Headset that must be paired with a Chris King Devolution baseplate or, in other words, a crown race.
Bottom Brackets
Santa Cruz uses the threaded BSA bottom bracket standard, which is a tried and tested standard that is reliable and avoids the foibles of other standards. All good things in Chris King’s book. This also makes it a straightforward choice of the ThreadFit 24 for 24mm and GXP cranks or the ThreadFit 30 for 30mm and DUB spindle cranks.
Hubs and Wheels
