Harvey Rollason Storms U21 Debut

Intense Cycles and TLD ambassador Harvey Rollason has defied his years taking fourth place in the first round of the 2019 BEMBA series at Afan Forest.

The 17-year-old aced his practice runs for the enduro competition before a last-minute removal of the junior category meant he would be racing against the under-21s on the day.

Throughout the five race stages Rollason maintained his composure, tackling technical and physically demanding runs with determination and grit. A final push for the line in the last stage saw him digging deep for a worthy finish.

Speaking after the race Rollason commented: "I’m happy with the result considering it’s my first race in the under 21s. I was only 20 seconds down on first and they won the first round of the EWS in Rotorua."

Here at Saddleback, we’re always stoked to hear about our ambassadors’ success and can’t wait to see what the rest of the enduro season holds for Rollason.
