Sportful Unveil New Bora-Hansgrohe Kit

Sportful has released a new jersey design for Team Bora-Hansgrohe as the World Tour squad take on the remainder of the 2020 season.

The new Sportful Bora-Hansgrohe team jerseys share much in common with the kit worn by the team in previous years but alter the colours and shift team sponsors for a new striking look.

Switching out the familiar black for white, the new jerseys have a brighter, fresher look while retaining the same signature peppermint design on the body.

The new Bora-Hansgrohe Race Jersey is no replica. It is in fact an exact copy of those worn by the likes of Sagan, Buchmann, Schachmann and Kämna at the 2020 edition of the Tour, and exclusive to Saddleback.

The jersey uses Sportful’s pro aero jersey the Bomber as a base. The Bomber Jersey uses smooth aero fabrics to offer the pros an advantage and has a modern collarless design – something that is becoming a go-to with the pro peloton.

The Bora-Hansgrohe Team Jersey is Sportful’s technical BodyFit jersey in the team’s new livery. Slightly more relaxed than the Race Jersey, the Team Jersey is favoured by the pros for training due to its high levels of comfort which are achieved without sacrificing performance.

As well as the standard strip, both jerseys are also available with the rainbow trim at the sleeve ends. This design is worn exclusively the man himself Peter Sagan, marking his 3 consecutive World Champion victories.

Sagan and Bora-Hansgrohe have been part of a race within a race at this year’s Tour, animating the green jersey competition as Sagan seeks to claim his eighth maillot vert.

Deceuninck-Quickstep’s Sam Bennet has held the green jersey for much of the race, but Bora-Hansgrohe have been drilling the front of the peloton on climbs that precede intermediate sprints to drop the Irish sprinter and ensure Sagan can chip away at Bennet’s lead.

This of course has only been possible thanks to Sagan’s climbing prowess. This is rare thing for a sprinter to have, but something that only confirms Sagan’s place as one of the most impressive – and entertaining – riders of recent years.
