Having endured some of the most gruelling gravel events around, such as the UNBOUND Gravel 200 and ENVE’s own GRODEO Gravel Ride, the G Series Dropper has been thoroughly real world tested with descents in mind.
By lowering your centre of gravity, it will increase your control and boost your confidence, encouraging you to push harder on descents than ever before. The G Series Dropper is also lightweight enough to attract XC riders and racers looking to save a few grams.
What sets the G Series Dropper Post apart
Offering 40mm of drop, it is designed to be compatible with a wide variety of frames, since it comes with a diameter of 27.2mm post as standard but also includes shims to adapt to 30.9 and 31.6mm.
Designed with a 2-bolt rail clamp, the G-Series Dropper fits all rail types. Uniquely, its inverted design ensures you can trim the post up to 130mm as desired, which could save you up to 50g from an already svelte weight of 395g. The inversion will also help you to shed debris and run your saddlebag without compromising the post’s function.
Functionality and reliability are key to ENVE’s products, and the dropper post doesn’t disappoint on this score, being fully serviceable with no special tools required. The G Series uses a mechanical actuation and is designed for use with internally routed frames only.
With every dropper post comes its lever
The function of any dropper post starts from your contact point on the handlebars, something ENVE has recognised by introducing the G Series Drop Bar Dual Action Dropper Lever, available separately to the dropper post. In line with the rest of ENVE’s components, when purchasing either the G-Series dropper or lever you’ll be covered by the brand’s warranty and Incident Protection scheme.
The G-Series Dropper is compatible with most actuated remote levers, but the ENVE Drop Bar Dropper Lever distinguishes itself by striking the perfect balance between function, aesthetics and ergonomics. Its dual action push and pull design allows it to be comfortably and effectively used from either the hoods or the drops.
