CANNONDALE
Cannondale is one of the world’s most celebrated bicycle brands, renowned for pioneering aluminium frames back in 1983, launching the first rear suspension bike in 1991 and bringing out iconic models over the years, such as the Super V and Raven, as well the Headshok and Lefty front suspension systems.
Its bikes have been ridden to victory by many cycling heroes, including Mario Cipollini, Vincenzo Nibali and Peter Sagan. In 2024, with Cannondale sponsoring the EF Pro Cycling men and women’s teams, they secured wins at the women’s Olympic road race and eight National Championships, and further claimed five Grand Tour stages and the Tour de France King of the Mountains jersey.
Meanwhile, with Cannondale Factory Racing, the brand earned three wins at the UCI World Cup XCO and one at the UCI World Cup XCC, alongside titles at the UCI MTB Marathon World Championships and the XC World Championships.
Aiming to ‘push past possible’, Cannondale continually works to make its bikes faster, sleeker and even more fun to ride.

About Cannondale
Established in 1971 in Wilton, Connecticut, Cannondale has been building better bikes for decades. Known for doing things its own way, the brand is set apart by its pioneering technology, clean looking builds and expertise in both carbon and aluminium frame construction.
For the brand’s credentials, look no further than its slew of award wins for the versatile CAAD13 aluminium road bike, the aerodynamic carbon SuperSix EVO racing steed and the fierce, feisty Scalpel SE trail racing bike, alongside its podium successes. Working closely with pro riders ensures its technology is always pertinent and evolving to meet real-world needs within cycling.
Beyond that, the brand’s creations are built to be long lasting, fun to ride and something a little bit different from the norm. With road, mountain, hybrid, electric and children’s bikes all featured within its portfolio, in numerous different builds to suit all shapes, sizes and genres of rider, it brings cutting edge performance to a wide audience.
Cannondale’s technology
Cannondale doesn’t design bikes that simply do a job, it creates dream machines that bring something special to the table. The LAB71 division is key to this quest for greatness, allowing the brand’s product teams to ignore the constraints of time, cost and complexity.
While all categories include premium LAB71 models, every Cannondale bike benefits from trickle down technology from this elite sandbox. Suspension is the focus of three of Cannondale’s key technologies, the FlexPivot chainstays, Lefty suspension and HeadShok fork.
The former delivers the benefits of a Horst Link four-bar suspension through innovative carbon fibre layup, with less weight and maintenance, while the latter absorbs bumps with less friction by effectively turning the conventional suspension system upside down and incorporating smooth-acting needle bearings for better comfort and grip.
Lefty Suspension has been a feature of many Cannondale builds for over 20 years. With just one leg, it is light with an incredible strength to weight ratio and buttery smooth action, thanks to needle bearing technology and ingenious construction.
Most recently, Cannondale has created SmartSense to keep commuters safe, a developing system of responsive lights and rear-facing radar to make urban riders and traffic more aware of each other.
