The Castelli Soudal Quick-Step Climber's 3.1 Jersey pairs the aerodynamic patterning of the Aero Race jersey with added lightness and breathability, in the form of Air Mesh sleeves and Flusso 3D fabric on its front and side panels.
This jersey was designed with the pros’ Alpine summer climbing challenges in mind, although the resulting jersey will be appreciated by every athlete for its ability to rapidly disperse heat at the height of summer and offer outstanding long-ride comfort.
The use of open fabrics throughout makes this jersey resistant to water absorption, so amateurs may wish to follow the pros’ lead by using it as a wet weather option. Conversely, despite the jersey’s light weight and breathability, its back offers protection from 90% of UV rays – a quality that could come in handy during the blazing, muggy days that are becoming an expected part of British summertime.
Patterned with colourful red, white and blue Soudal Quick-Step branding and graphics, it’s comfortable, with a forgiving fit and raw-cut sleeve endings, and can be worn on its own in high temperatures or paired with a base layer for three season use. However you choose to wear it, you’ll never regret pulling on this soft, flattering jersey.
