More comfortable, with an improved fit, a sleek new look and functional improvements, the latest iteration of the Valeco 2 has been updated with a selection of proprietary technologies.
The helmet removes heat and sweat quickly via HJC's COOLPATHTM system, with its 14 ventilation holes. This technology improves the airflow through the helmet and around your head as you ride, thanks to an expanded cool airflow space and carefully engineered intake and exhaust channels. These make use of ventury dynamics to move air through the helmet as fast as possible.
Once the helmet is set for your head, it does not need further adjustment due to HJC's revolutionary SELFITTM automatic fitting system. Five snap fitting positions provide consistent shaping and comfort for heads of all sizes, resulting in a helmet that fits ride after ride.
Meanwhile, the structure of the helmet has been enhanced through expanded rear padding, while its comfort and security has been boosted by the inclusion of a 4-point chin strap.
Tested in the wind tunnel, it has been sculpted with aerodynamics in mind, so that it not only looks sporty but exerts minimal friction and drag as you ride.
The refreshed design, which is still made using in-mould construction for optimum strength, features fresh looking tone-on-tone colours, with isolated shape geometry. It has also been sculpted to better accommodate long hair and now includes a reflective SELFITTM sticker, to boost your visibility in low light, alongside improved goggle accommodation.
Now around 15g lighter than its previous iteration, at roughly 245g for the medium size, the Valeco 2 is certified to both European and UK Conformity standards and is better looking, more comfortable and better fitting than ever, while maintaining the safety standards you expect from HJC.
