The Castelli Soudal Quick-Step Free Aero RC Pro Bib Shorts are primed for racing at the highest level, but nonetheless achieve the levels of comfort needed for training. With fast fabrics and minimal seams, they’ll make you feel like a champion.
Largely constructed from supportive stretch fabric, they’re enhanced by slippery fabrics on the inside of the leg that will help to achieve a racing fit. Nonetheless, you’ll never find these bibs restrictive, as the raw-cut leg endings and waist panel are soft and offer enough give to gently anchor the shorts.
Built around the high performance Progetto X² Air Seamless seat pad, with its luxurious gel and foam cushioning and smooth finish, the shorts are built with just five panels, so that as few seams as possible disrupt their satiny feel.
Meanwhile, minimalist bib straps help to prevent overheating, while lying flat enough to be invisible under your jersey. A rear mesh pocket lends the finishing touch to an intelligently engineered pair of bib shorts, offering just enough space for a gel or two to keep you going.
