The Flowline SE MIPS Helmet, Troy Lee Designs’ new half shell trail helmet, includes some of the best technology Troy Lee Designs has to offer. Sporting a modern, minimalist look, it is designed to keep you safe and comfortable on the trail.
Safety is of course the top priority of any off-road helmet, and the Flowline SE doesn’t disappoint on this score. Equipped with MIPS® in a low-key black shade, it will guard your brain from rotational impact in the event of a collision.
Meanwhile, dual density EPS will work to reduce the energy transfer during either high and low speed impacts, so that your head will be protected, whether you lose your balance on slippery ground or encounter an obstacle.
Extended coverage at the back of the head and an outer shell, sturdily made using full wrap in-mould construction, reinforce these defences.
Comfort is the next most important consideration in any trail helmet. The Flowline SE MIPS can be adjusted to fit securely using Troy Lee Designs’ precision fit system, with three height settings that quickly and simply tighten or loosen the Flowline SE to suit.
Once you’re moving, 14 high-flow ventilation ports will keep the air flowing over your scalp, keeping your head deliciously dry and cool, even when you’re putting effort into shredding or climbing. If you do start to sweat, the helmet will remain fresh thanks to the antimicrobial, odour fighting comfort liner, which will also provide soft cushioning throughout your ride.
The Flowline SE MIPS Helmet is finished off by the same easy-to-use Fidlock magnetic buckle system found on the A3, which can be opened and shut with just one hand or while wearing gloves, and a screwless visor with smooth three-position adjustment that will protect your eyes while riding and soak up impact during an off.
