Over nearly four decades, the CAAD has been refined for increased speed with decreasing weight, while its dropped rear stay configuration and ample room for tyres up to 30mm deliver stiffness, for effective power transfer, alongside unbeatable compliance.

Cannondale's SmartForm C1 Premium Alloy has been tuned for lightweight capability, while truncated, airfoil tubes reduce drag by up to 30% compared with round tube shapes. Meanwhile, the bike's high strength, low weight, shock absorbing triangle, integrated seat binder and aerodynamic, vibration-eliminating seatpost will ensure you enjoy a fast yet forgiving ride.

The brake rotors and pads have been inspected for wear and the calliper alignment checked, to ensure you can stop on a button.

The headset, bottom bracket and crank axle have all been cleaned and greased, so you can expect no creaks. The seat post has been fibre gripped, so that it stays in place, and every bolt is torqued to spec, ready to go.
