There's also a hood with a visor to keep off sunshine and drizzle alike, vents at the back for breathability when you're in a hurry, and three pockets to hold extra layers.
However, attention has also been paid to making this a jacket you'll be glad to wear around town. The Metro Women's Softshell comes in a feminine cut with fitted elastic cuffs and is available in sober shades that won't look out of place in the office lobby. It also has two zippered pockets for your keys and valuables, a shaped tail to protect your trousers from spray as you ride, and reflective dots at the back to keep you safe in crowded urban environments.
