The Abbey Bike Tools Team Issue Pedal Wrench was originally customised for Abbey's own sponsored mechanics but is now available to the buying public.
Lightened by 146g through the removal of two pockets of material, and 2” shorter than the shop version, it's a one-stop solution for all your pedal removal needs. The once standard 15mm wrench flats are becoming less common, but many are still about. Meanwhile, many manufacturers are mixing and matching pedals that are loosened with a 6mm or 8mm Allen key respectively. Rather than pack three tools, reach for the Team Issue Pedal Wrench.
Abbey Bike Tools has designed the wrench with one 15mm box end, while the other houses a swivel bit with two different hex heads. So, every pedal out there can be loosened with the one wrench, with 12.5” of leverage at your disposal to assist.
It has a solid feel, with enough weight to be sturdy, but is also nice and slim for easy storage, with a beautiful wooden handle that feels smooth and natural in the hand. Seized or abused components are best tackled with the shop version, otherwise it will be durable enough to loosen the pedals on any bike that comes your way.
