The Soudal Quick-Step Aero Race 8S Jersey benefits from Castelli's years of aerodynamic innovation, paired with modern technology, to be the fastest the brand has ever made, without sacrificing comfort in the quest for speed.
It uses CFD engineering to hide seams from the wind, plus a special ribbed shoulder fabric that minimises drag at race speed, to achieve CdA savings of up to 6% over previous jerseys – a benefit that, since 80% of drag on a cyclist comes from the body, will give you a definite advantage over competitors.
Although S stands for speed, the jersey is also made from smooth, stretchy fabric for a racing fit without constriction, with elastic to both anchor the hem while you're in race position and support the pockets carry to gels, spares and other essentials you require to achieve top performance. Meanwhile, bonded sleeve endings feel soft against your skin.
