Saddleback has received the last cask of Chris King’s matte bourbon hubs, headsets, and bottom brackets. The limited-edition colour brings a touch of class to any bike build.

A Chris King component is one of the finest additions you can make to a bike build. The bottom brackets, headsets, and hubs are loved for the pops of colour or refined detailing they bring to a bike.

The matte bourbon is certainly in the latter camp with a refined appearance that wouldn’t look amiss on a sleek titanium build. Saddleback has received the last cask of the colour across Chris King’s range of bottom brackets, headsets, and hubs.

Chris King is famed for its range of beautiful colours, but it is equally renowned for the quality, durability, and performance of its components.

Chris King manufactures its components and even its bearings inhouse at its Portland, Oregon HQ, for maximum quality control. The components are famed for improving with age as the bearings and their races burnish over time. They are also fully serviceable, and their owners truly treasure them carrying the components over from their old bikes to their new bikes.
