Silca’s precision tools range continues to grow with the Italian Army Knife Venti – a new 20-function multi tool packed with handy features for fettling on the go.
Joining the award-winning Nove (nine functions) and Tredici (13 functions), the new Silca Venti boasts 20 tools to get you through any mechanical mishap while out riding. The Venti includes a forged chain breaker that magnetically fastens on top of the tool, meaning it can be longer and removed entirely for improved usability. This tool also functions as a spoke wrench (13G, 15G), 10mm open end wrench, valve core remover and disc pad spreader.
As well as the multi-use detachable chain breaker, there’s also a wide selection of forged stainless-steel tools including: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm hex keys, Torx keys (8, 10, 20, 25), Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers, a 7mm box wrench and an 8mm flare nut wrench. Each is a high-precision tool coated in Silca’s unique high-grip chrome plating, which provides better torque transfer to avoid deforming bolts when tinkering with your pride and joy.
All these on-the-go bike savers are secured between metal injection, ergonomic knurled-grip side rails that maintain the svelte aesthetic of the Italian Army Knife range. The grip rails on the Venti also include magnetic storage for a spare master link in case of chain breakages out on your cycling adventures.
As with all Silca’s products, the US brand has designed the Venti with longevity in mind. There’s no plastic in the construction, giving a solid feel that will outlast and outperform the competition for years to come while still maintaining a competitive weight of 172g considering the exceptional functionality on offer.
