Cyclists can spend hours debating whether or not gravel riding is a thing. But any way you look at it, we can be sure that we no longer worry about what the surface beneath our wheels is so much or how long we’re in the saddle. Our playground has got bigger, that’s for sure.
The Sportful Dirty Roads collection is built around this concept. It’s about getting out, exploring, taking risks, and not worrying about defining what you’re doing. It’s about having fun.
Sportful has designed the Dirty Roads collection to accommodate this style of riding with several key features across all the Dirty Road family:

In the Dirty Roads collections there is two separate lines, tailored to different riding styles: Giara, and Supergiara.
Giara is durable, has plenty of storage, and is tailored for riding all day, travelling, adventure, and distance.
Supergiara is for those pushing themselves beyond the limits and those who love to rip it up on gravel roads. Technical, performance-oriented gear for when you need the very best.

Sportful Supergiara Jacket
The Supergiara Jacket from Sportful provides the best winter protection and features for winter gravel rides.
The jacket has a three-layer construction made with Thermore® fabric. The outer layer is windproof, the middle is insulating, and the inner is a 3D breathable mesh. While the front provides protection from the wind, the back is made from a stretchy fabric that allows for superb freedom of movement and keeps comfort levels high. The fabrics are warm and low volume and guarantee breathability even during your hardest efforts.
Giara Softshell Jacket
The Giara Softshell Jacket has a wind-resistant Soft Shell fabric on the front and sleeves to protect the areas of your body most exposed to wind chill. Sportful’s stretch ThermoDrytex fabric is used in the back for great fit and comfort as well as breathability. Deep pockets on the back of the jacket provide ample storage for supplies, and a zippered pocket keeps essentials secure on rough trails. Reflective highlights aid visibility in low light, so you can keep riding.

Supergiara Thermal Jersey
The Sportful Supergiara Thermal Jersey provides greater warmth and practicality for winter gravel rides that see you pushing yourself to your limit. Multiple fabrics come together to provide a thermoregulating and highly comfortable long sleeve jersey. 5 pockets across the back and front of the long sleeve jersey provide ample storage.
Giara Thermal Jersey
The Sportful Giara Thermal Jersey has large rear pockets provide plenty of room to carry supplies as well as any extra layers. A zipper pocket keeps valuables firmly stowed on rough terrain. Reflective detailing aids visibility while on less lit routes. Constructed with brushed fabrics the jersey offers next-to-skin warmth and comfort for riding in cool conditions. The heathered fabric design gives this jersey a more casual feel than lots of more road-specific kit.
Supergiara Bib Tights
The top of the Supergiara Bib Tight is made from thermal stretch fabric for warmth, while the bottom is made from lighter fabrics for a lightweight build and superb comfort. In the cold keeping your joints warm is essential to performance, so double thickness fabric at the knee is there to do just that.
The Supergiara Bib Tight has an extra cargo pocket on the leg to provide additional storage for essentials, while keeping them within easy reach.
The bib tights use Sportful’s gravel specific DMS seat pad.
Giara Thermal Gloves
The Giara Thermal Gloves have a palm that is highly resistant to wear and any snags and scrapes that may come from cycling through difficult terrain. The upper is wind and water resistant to keep your hands warm. Side reflective elements improve visibility for riding where light levels are low. Gel inserts improve comfort for long days in the saddle, and help your hands stay firmly on the bars.

DR Jacket
The DR Jacket has a large mesh pocket on the front of the DR, and two internal pockets accessed via the front of the jacket, puts any supply within easy reach and saves you reaching round to your back like on standard road cycling apparel.
The mesh pocket doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket, which takes up minimal space in handlebar or frame bags.
Stretch fabric is strategically placed to increase freedom of movement, and help you take on the most rugged terrain. The DR is completely seam-sealed to help keep you dry when you’re out in the elements, or on those multi-day adventures.
