Wolf Tooth Joins Saddleback
By Tom Ballard – 2 July 2019
One of cycling's most innovative names joins Saddleback, giving MTB, gravel and road riders access to some of the sport's most ingenious products.
Based in Burnsville, Minnesota, the Wolf Tooth team is made up of dedicated cyclists from engineering and manufacturing backgrounds, so every single product is focused on improving the ride experience – whether that’s increasing performance, reliability or meeting a completely new need.
This makes the brand a perfect fit for Saddleback’s crew of cycling obsessives, with everyone on the team looking forward to adding to their selection of Wolf Tooth’s ever-growing range, which includes chainrings, drivetrain accessories, headsets, dropper levers, grips, tools and on-bike storage accessories.
“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Wolf Tooth to a bigger audience of riders in the UK and beyond,” says Andy Wigmore, Saddleback founder and managing director. “Many of us in the business have been using Wolf Tooth chainrings on our gravel bikes for a few years now and have become convinced that nothing comes close.”
One of our favourite strokes of genius from the US brand is the RoadLink, a clever little derailleur hanger extension which allows dish-sized rear cassettes on any road bike to give road riders or gravel riders the flexibility to go 1x or massively increase gear range to tackle the most epic climbs.
Each and every Wolf Tooth product is designed, prototyped, tested, and brought to market in-house at the team’s Minnesota HQ. Not only does this make for products of unrivalled quality, but you can rest assured that everything leaving the premises is ready to take on the toughest European conditions having been tested against the harshest Minnesota winters.
Thanks to this agile, end-to-end approach, the Wolf Tooth team can react faster to changes in bike standards and trends in the rapidly evolving bike technology scene. This means that as bike technology changes, you can rely on Wolf Tooth to keep your covered with first-to-market solutions for the latest developments.
Wolf Tooth products are now in stock and available on the Saddleback website, you’ll find some of the key categories below.
