The Castelli Premio Tri Women's Speed Shorts are designed to achieve marginal gains through a minimalist cut, with reduced seams and raw-cut leg endings, and the ability to clip onto your tri top for the swim and bike legs to minimise drag.
A SnapLock fastener makes it possible to clip your jersey firmly in place for enhanced aerodynamics while cycling or running, then unclip before the notoriously warm run leg, to facilitate air flow.
Meanwhile, the simple construction of the shorts promotes comfort, which is further enhanced by the addition of the quick-drying KISS Tri seat pad, constructed to be just thick enough to offer cushioning for the cycle leg of the race, without getting in your way during the run and swim.
The use of stretch-woven fabric, meanwhile, ensures the shorts offer muscle support, while elastic grippers negate the need for silicone detailing to hold the legs firm.
