The Castelli Wind Stopper Balaclava can be worn under your helmet and will keep your face toasty, while allowing vapour to escape, in the most extreme conditions. It covers your whole head and neck, while leaving an opening for your face that has high stretch. This facilitates the greatest possible number of options for coverage and protection against the cold.
This one-size-fits-all, unisex garment is made up of two performance fabrics that work together to ensure your comfort. Windstopper® X-Fast is a light, breathable and stretchy fabric that features a Gore Windstopper® membrane. Used at the front of the balaclava, it is completely windproof, with a DWR treated outer surface and cosy brushed inner surface that wicks moisture, so it works hard to protect you from the elements.
Meanwhile, Castelli's own 100% polyester Warmer fabric also wicks sweat and has a fleecy, thermal inner layer that suffuses your face and neck with cosiness.
