The Chris King Road R45 Rear Hub - 130mm QR - Shimano is the brand's cornerstone quick-release rim-brake hub, designed for ultimate performance and durability by the best in the business.
This road, gravel, triathlon or CX hub includes the patented King RingDrive system, which has 45 teeth for engagement with the hub body. This means there is less drag, near instant engagement to put power through the drivetrain and the signature Chris King angry bee sound.
The R45 rear hub also features Chris King's trademark smooth surgical steel bearings, which are heat treated and machined simultaneously for perfect matching and get faster as they burnish. There's also the option of ceramic bearings for unparalleled smoothness and longevity. Simple servicing will ensure this hub keeps on going, even with a generous share of heavy use and abuse in year-round conditions!
